Monk DPS or Priest/Druid healer

Hey,

My name is Niels, I live in Belgium (small country center of Europe )
I'm 21 years old coming tuesday and a full time gamer.
I've played WoW since Vanilla on a different account. I however can still prove it cause I transferred my main back to this account.
What happens outside my gaming-room? Nothing much, I still go to school (part-time) and I play soccer on Monday-Tuesdays.
I'm a snowboarder so during winter holiday's I'm having some vacations in the Italy.

I'm pretty steady on my shedule's, and if something would come up I alays know that 3-4 weeks before it will happen. Plenty of time to find a raider to fill up my spot
I have a working mic and I'm sure not afraid to use it after raids. If needed during the raid aswell, but I'd like to keep channel clean and focus with some music in the background.

I have recently rerolled classes to my Druid and Priest, both of them healers. The druid is 90, the Priest still leveling, but I have played both classes before, with succes.
So basically I am asking to get me as a healer, but I can and I am willing to join with my old main. WW/BM Monk.


-Raid History-

Ever since Vanilla came out I was a PvP'er. I was way to young to compete at a decent level in raids. Ofcourse I did ZG and MC, but the 20/40 mans weren't meant for me.
Since I started PvP'ing I never really had to urge to PvE untill ICC.
I cleared it 10 man heroic after it was nerfed though. Same goes for FL etc.
Why didn't I clear it on heroic normal difficulty would be my first question.
I was still a bit too young to stay 3-4 days up till 00.00!
Maybe on my 18th I could have done it, but it would have resulted in discussions with my parents so I could be bothered with PvE.

Recently I have moved out and set my focus on PvE. I joined Exquisite on Karazhan and together we cleared 10/16 HC-when our group started shattering in December.
The GuildMaster tried to fix it, I had put my faith in it, but as feared, it all fell apart during January, when I decided to transfer and try some new guilds.
Now all my holiday's have pasted, 5.2 knocking at the door.

Yes, my gear is a bit messed up. I have been tanking for some guild to boost their progress, and they need me to switch between tank/DPS every fight. So I use 2 set bonus of each for my DPS spec since I have more than enough Haste to make up for the loss in Energizing Brew 4-set bonus.

Razer Naga: 1,2,3,4,5,6 + Shift + CTRL
Keyboard: &,é,",',(,a,e,<,c,f,r,t + Shift + CTRL

More binds than I need. But almost every one has an attack or focus attack/buff/heal

-Spec-Glyph-
Nothing much I can say about it. Changes on boss fights. Nothing standard.

-Gems-
They too are messed up at the moment. Main order is Hit--> Exp-->Crit and Haste.
But in 5.2 might be different since Mastery is coming up.



-Additional Information-

I know some people in your guild, and they can back me up if I say I know what I'm doing. I can prove that to you in many ways. Sometimes a simple change in tactic has brought us victory. I keep a good overview and enjoy making a mistake.
Mistakes result in focus on the next ability, focus results in a gain of DPS. Some guilds don't like DPS whores as they say, but what is a better motivator then competition?

I was already writing the big letter for Monk DPS when I noticed you are oke with doing it over Mumble. So gonna post it anyway and we can still have our chat on mumble over what you might think should be different on my rotation, and then I can counter why I haven't done that/tried that.

Every fight starts with Tigereye Brew. You want to have 10 staks before every boss fight. So basically you don't use them on trash right before boss, or you stack them high when a wipe is announced.
Upon engaging the boss these stacks reset, but the 20% dmg increased buff does not. So you want to pop it together with the pre-pot.
Aswell, during this patch you want to pop Expel Harm 3 times before engaging the boss, whilst spamming Spinning Fire Blossom to keep your Chi at 5.
But I'm popping high bets that they will fix this in 5.2!

After pre pot I engage with Flying Serpent Kick (nice dmg on landing) and I will use this kick every time I have to move. It is more accurate then rolling and does atleast some damage over a roll. Roll is emergency escape.

My basic fight is all about surviving, I have Fortifying Brew glyphed to take another -5% dmg in most fight with unavoidable damage. Zen meditation and Diffuse Magic/Dampen harm will assist me in that.
Touch of Karma is being used every single cooldown on incoming damage. We all know when something is gonna hit, in some fights everything can be avoided, but I will then wisely choose not to and increase my damage with Karma. (if it doesn't hurt the raid and minimum loss of hp). So yeah, I might tend to stand in some fires.

Touch of death has been a lifesaver in many cases, but is in raidsbosses whitout adds quite useless. (Most bosses die on 1mil hp)
Transcendence+Spinning crane kick comes in usefull to reset stacks on ex. Elegon etc, spares me quite some GCD's.
Path of Blossoms is my only weakness, I barely find a chanche to use it. I am working on that now that I have way to much Energy when moving, I'm trying to bring that into the rotation.

Rotation:

Expel Harm every CD
Rising Sun Kick every CD
Tiger Palm every 19 seconds or whenever out of energy and a free stack is available.
Fists of Fury, if stun is not needed for adds every CD
Blackout Kick every 4 seconds (keep debuff alive)
Jab to create Chi (use before full energy bar)
Crackling Jade + Spinning Fire Blossoms (Air Phases or dmg attack from a safezone)
Grabble Weapon on CD(always on adds for +dmg)
Chi Wave (still figuring it out. As a tank this was my main spell, but it get's nerfed in 5.2 so can't really fit it in yet in my new rotation as a DPS)

AOE:
Rushing Jade Wind followed by 2* Spinning Crane Kick --> Energizing brew and keep spinning till 5 Chi. --> Rising Sun kick every 14 sec and Tiger palm every 19 sec.
Fists of Fury on low amount of adds. If 6+ it lowers DPS'

Anything else van be asked on Mumble.
Not 100% sure I can be here at 6.30 today, having dinner for my birthday at 7 in a nearby restaurant. ( Close Call)

For us to pick up a meele dps you need to be exeptional.

I would like some performance logs from maybe the monk + other chars if you have played them this tier or old ones. Your current logs on the monk is very dissapointing.
One tsulong lfr doesnt say much. If you dont have any old logs, atlesat do a full lfr and give us the report.

The backup tank spott will not influence the decition to pick you up much. We are looking for a dps who just picks up tank gear that nobody need and tanks if one of our 2 tanks are offline.

DPS and tank gear are the same for monks. i'll run a full HoF for you so you can see some more. Will post it in 40 mins.

During heroic fight you merely ever get to be full hp, that would be a waste of your healers mana(overhealing). So yeah, I manage to have 80-90% uptime on Expel Harm.
Maybe I shouldn't have said on CD, but I used to be tank and then you had a 100% uptime on it.

LFR tanks forced me to tank trash. One tank was AFK, other one didn't feel like tanking. So the first log on boss is me tanking. Do notice I only started at 75%, since they got me killed on trash engaged boss and CR'ed me after first platform.

This is second boss. A lot of movement again but well...
Tank died early, I taunted once to take a stack, did run into a Tornado due to lack of focus in this instance. Not to mention I had to run 40 yards every time he did his aoe attack, you know LFR is far from optimal for any of us, and even worse for mellee. But I think I still did way better than some of your raiders. (I took liberty of looking into your logs)

movement isn't as much of an issue for WW monks than say, ret paladin, or DK, flying serpent kick, roll, and Momentum make your movement pretty damn good imo.

Looking at the blade lord logs, you don't seem to be using as much blackout kick as you probably could, and you could have probably done alot more rising sun kicks (i'm accounting for the final phase here btw)

Also, i have just checked you up on the armory, your dual wield but stacking haste, you have probably 3k more haste than is reccomended, I imagine your energy capping a hell of a lot?

Dear monky boy.
My main mission here is to tell you that when it comes to melee we are lacking a str user who brings those buffs to the raid. Also we would prefer not to go over 2 meleedps as we wouldnt be able to give them all raidtime on progress as Blizzard likes to throw us mechanics that doesnt favour melee in ten man.
At the moment we do have a rogue and we'd love to bring in a warrior or perhaps a retri. But to bring in another melee that doesnt give us something we dont have it need to be above avarage.

On Sha I actually followed tactics So might be a bit lower on DPS there compared to others.

1. Weak application. Not enought usefull information. Not enought logs.

2. Low experience. A rerolled tank with no proof of other dps accomplishments.

3. Low performance. From the 2-3 bosses you have linked (lfr) your dps is low.

Result = Denied.
