Adam - Resto Druid

Hi, hope I dont embarrass myself too much and this isnt too much of a pain. Going to try and keep it simple and short.

How did you find out about us? Looked for guilds with similar progress to what I am used too at the moment.

Why Core Crew? Ive looked for a guild on this server with similar progress to my current guild Santa Maria. I found a few guilds and thought id speak to some members. Had a chat with Livvy, who I felt was extremely friendly and after the initial chat like his opinion and his view of this guild.

Raid Attendance and time - Altho you raid earlier then im used too, I can make these raid times. I do have 2 kids who I try to ensure are settled before I raid to prevent interruptions. But ill be honest and hopefully some of you might understand its not always possible....

Do you have a mic? Yes, Im happy to use it too. Altho im from Yorkshire and have a strong yorkshire accent which some people find amusing.

Primary raiding spec/gearing :
Restoration – As with most specs now, we swop and change talents to suite. I do prefer to use Incarnation over SOTF and HoTW over NV.
The mana return and healing provided by Incarnation has been much better for me personally. I havnt had the luck of getting my 4pc yet and altho I have used SOTF with 2Pc it kinda got in the way when waiting with WG for Swiftmending. Next patch looks as tho force of nature is getting buffed and ill proberbly see how that works.
I used NV on some fights in early progression but didnt find the extra healing that noticeable. It did however cause a few wipes breaking ccs
Hotw with the extra int and the ability to DPS has been more use for me on a whole.

Stat Priority Im currently using 3042 Haste (Tranq cap) running around 7800 spirit and the rest into Mastery.
Ive been lowering my spirit and increasing mastery for the past few raids and I think im at a point now where im running ok.

Not making any excuses, i overheal too much and have pulled my hair out trying to beat our paladin/priest. I have ranked on a few fights but all in all,unless the priest or Pala played shit my heals got sniped. 5.2 should fix some of the issues with this.
Its a common frustration among druids at the moment

Feral – Not really used since DS. Tanked a bit for SM in DS and since Mop ive just quested with it. I do have more heroic gear on feral tho then I do Resto....


Raiding / PVP experience:
I started raiding in Wrath as resto, the guild I joined started to disband and within a few months I was the GM. Stayed GM and we cleared all up untill Icecrown Heroic. Progress was steady with the guild but wasnt by any means brilliant. We split up and I joined a friends guild till Cata.

Cata me and a few friends started a 10 man guild again on sunstrider. We dabbled with 25 man a bit but again progress wasn't brilliant. We cleared most of the first tier of heroics (if i remember correct) and got stuck on Raggy with roster issues. I played a bit of feral tank and resto towards the end on this exspantion

We then moved to Kazzak with the aim to find the missing players we needed to continue with MOP. But this proved harder then anticipated with more people quitting and not having any base here. We started and cleared normal DS quickly but as heroic progression got on the way we lost more people. In the end we decided to call it and I joined Santa Maria. With Santa Maria we cleared DS with I think 10% debuff. We ended Rank 5. I wont take credit for this progress as I joined them when they were upto Warmaster/spine. But I was present for progress after that.

MOP we had high hopes. Our roster had alot of changes but we were confident. But at the start Val our disc priest had an accident and we were left with just me and Kaytemoss to heal. We 2 healed MSV on the first week in normals and then started work on HC when Val came back. We currenly have cleared all of MSV and HOF heroic and working on terrace. I am missing kills for Will in MSV and Vis in HOF but as logs will show i have been part of the progress.

Why leave? I genuinly loved my time with Santa Maria. As a whole they are great guys and very skilled. But sadly things havnt worked out in the end. Ive become frustrated with some things and this in turn has taken away how comfortable I am being part of that team. Over the past few months I havnt felt confident in what was asked of me and being allowed to do what I enjoy properly. I think its time to move on and find a guild a little more suited to my style.

What I can offer?

Ill offer someone who is reliable and hardworking. Ill push to improve and learn from my mistakes. Ive played a resto druid for a long time and regularily check mmochamp and wtsheals for info and tricks. Ive a long experience with being a guild leader and raid leader and am happy to give input if I feel I can. Ill play my druid to the best od my ability be it be in resto or Feral. I dont feel as a resto druid we are in a particular strong place in 10 mans at the moment with shields being so strong and a druids hots being 'nulled' But I do think Im a guy who does try to push and improve.

My gear isnt that great, I know I could/should have done more but with the recent circumstances Ive become frustrated and probably fair to say Ive neglected it a bit. There are reasons for this which I can explain if needed. But I feel with the gear I have I am able to heal pretty well and I hope you can see that.

Do you know anyone in Core Crew?
Nope, sadly not. Again like ive stated earlier I do have a family which has reduced my play time. I try to spend less time on my computer now and only come on for raids and the odd fun even when im bored.

What do you expect from Core Crew?
I hope you guys are a stable guild with a good atmosphere. I hope for decent progress without the excessive hours banging ur head against a wall. I love the feeling of progressing and getting that first kill, so I hope you guys do too. But most of all a guild where I can be content, find like minded people who are not abusive but are keen to help each other progress and improve. Im proberbly a little older then most of you guys and am used to raiding with a few older guys too. After speaking to livvy I kinda get the feeling you guys have a similar approach to myself.

Anything else you'd like to tell us? I hope ive covered all the basic stuff, I hope any of the guys in Santa Maria will vouch for me. Valehru (the GM) and Zenga (who streams most of our fights) im sure will give you honest report about me as a person and my play style.

haha I'm afraid there's too many people like nheali that names their chars something very girly so no one expects there to actually be a girl behind the computer.
